2025 ALTUS Long Range Challenge Series

The Altus Long Range Challenge Series is a mixed series consisting of one day sanctioned PRS and ALTUS Outlaw precision rifle matches.  competition that is designed to test practical precision rifle shooting in various scenarios and applications. Participants will be expected to understand both their rifle-ammunition system and their own abilities throughout the 10-stage course of fire, as some stages may allow the shooter choice of target(s) or require the shooter to know their limits to maximize stage success. Competitors can expect engagements from 100-1000yards at an assortment of steel, reactive, and moving targets. Target sizes will vary in difficulty based on the shooters position, distance, props used and time allotted. 

The Altus Long Range Challenge Series is designed to accommodate shooters of all abilities. Pounders Hawaiian Grill will be provided for lunch to all of the shooters for each one of the matches. A maximum of 120 rounds will be required to complete the course of fire and caliber is restricted to 300 Win Mag and below. Muzzle velocity cannot exceed 3150 FPS. At the conclusion of every match in the series, scores will be posted online at http://www.practiscore.com

ROUNDS DOWN RANGE: 8:00AM

Noteworthy: 

*** There is no train up day for the one day matches. 

*** After completing your match slot purchase, please register through PractiScore here.

*** If you register multiple shooters for this competition, please notify the MD at time of sign in.

*** Shooters must register online at www.altusshooting.com

*** We do not accept walk ups day of the match.

Trophies will be distributed to the following places after each match.

1st Place over all shooter

2nd Place 

3rd Place 

Top Military/LEO shooter (Active Duty)

Top Lady shooter

Top Senior (Over 55) 

SERIES SCORING AND FINALE:

Each shooter who competes in the series will have their two best finishes in the series totaling (60%) of their score going into the finale each season with will be weighted at (40%). 

EXAMPLE: Match Score 1 (30%) + Match Score 3 (30%) + Finale Score (40%) = (100%) and Shooter’s Final Series Standing.
