The latest addition to Manners line of competition stocks is the Manners Elite Tactical PRS1. The Manners PRS1 was created with input from some of the nation's premier marksman and developed primarily for the Precision Rifle Series style of shooter. The Manners PRS1 series stocks are structurally designed to mimic a metal I-beam. This design increases both the strength and stiffness to an already nearly indestructible stock, making the Manners PRS1 the primary stock of choice amongst serious competition and hobby shooters alike.
Equipped with the Gen 2 DBM Mini-Chassis, the Manners PRS stock combines the ergonomics and feel of a traditional stock with the convenience of a chassis system. The aluminum bedding block design allows the user to drop their barreled action into the stock, torque front/rear action screws down, and head to the range for a day of shooting.
Every Manners PRS1 features a flat bottom for enhanced shooting off of props/barricades and has a shallow forend tip. The butt section of the PRS1 has a hook, similar to that of the Manners T4A, to help aid the shooter in controlling the rifle with his non-trigger hand.

Product Quality and Service - Best of the Best
Very happy with not only the quality of the Manners PRS1 but the service provided by ALTUS. Obviously these stocks are in very high demand. Since the stock they had on hand wasn't exactly what I was looking for, it was close and I was ready to "settle" for what I could get. Upon calling with questions regarding the barrel channel, I found that “settling” wasn’t necessary. I was informed that, for a little more, not only could ALTUS enlarge the channel to fit my M24 contour but could also add the desired pic rail for the Atlas bipod. So instead of waiting months, it was only a couple of weeks – though it still seemed like forever. Upon receipt, I dropped the barreled action right in to the stock, torqued down the mounting bolts and with High Expectations, headed to the range. Let’s just say that the results were quite pleasing… …even produced a little giggle now and then.
